We are committed to change the attitude of the Youth, which will help development of Peace, Prospirity and Co-existence to line-up Youth with the correct attitude to establish Peace, good Governance and a civil society which recognizes and respects humanity.

Prayathna    VISION OF OUR TRADE UNION SECTOR

We function as activists supporting the attempt made by the NAWF to convert non-informed citizens in to informed citizens, and we contribute to building a common stage for those who agree, as well as those who disagree with the policies of the NAWF
to Mobilize the Trade Unions which are organizations that provide the driving force that utilize the people’s view to create a just society which may fulfill the needs of all, while making qualitative improvements and uniting

The special section of the NAWF devoted to the mobilisation, empowerment and education of women and the training of future women social leaders is an important part of our work as a grassroots based people’s movement. Our special tasks may be summarised as follows:

Prayathna    VISION OF OUR CIVIC EDUCATION

AWF’s constituency building was aimed to mobilize informed participation of citizens in the peoples’ movement building process. Civic Education is an important aspect to create and sustain democratic citizens who are capable to critically assess the socio, political and cultural issues in order to make constructive contribution in both culturally and ideologically. Further, to ensure proper human resource development, continuous civic education is indispensable.

Prayathna    VISION OF OUR CULTURAL SECTERS

Culture is the entire fabric of life, which would include social traditions, religious beliefs and practice, values, ethics, ideologies, material and technological possessions, written and oral histories and all the arts. The creation of cultural expression should be a social process open to all. It must not be abridged socially, economically, or educationally by another or a dominant culture.
